Yellowjackets looks darker than ever in the new trailer for season 2

Yellowjackets fans: The wait won’t be too much longer now before we head back into the wilderness.

Today, Showtime dropped the full-length trailer for season 2 of Yellowjackets, ahead of its March 24th premiere on streaming. It features a cover of No Doubt’s “Just a Girl” from Florence + the Machine, off the show’s official soundtrack, and shows things are just as horrifying and lawless in the wilderness in the ’90s as they are in the present timeline.

The clip reveals cult rituals, supernatural symbols, and blood sacrifices galore, and it looks like we’ll finally find out who ended up in the pit and what happened with Shauna’s pregnancy. In the past, it even looks like we’ll see the how the girls get rescued this season. As for the present, while the women are still processing their trauma (and committing even more murders), it seems as though they need to team back up with Lottie, who’s apparently been institutionalized for years, for help — presumably with whoever is out to get them. There’s also teases of adult Lottie and Van, played by Simone Kessell and Lauren Ambrose, great bits of fan-favorite Christina Ricci arguing with newcomer Elijah Woods, and a lot more eerie vibes and twists to get excited about.

Let’s go, feral girls. Watch the trailer below.
