On Monday, a rep for Dustin Diamond confirmed to TMZ that the Saved By The Bell actor passed away on the morning of Feb. 1. His condition greatly declined over the past week and he was taken off of breathing machines in an attempt to get him to hospice care. TMZ further reports that his girlfriend was by his side when he passed away.

Just a few weeks ago, Diamond completed his first round of chemo after he was diagnosed with stage 4 small cell carcinoma, also known as lung cancer. TMZ reported that the cancer started somewhere in Dustin’s body before metastasizing in his lungs.

After feeling pain all over his body in early January, Diamond was hospitalized in Florida where he found out he had stage 4 lung cancer. Diamond notably played the lovable Screech on Saved By The Bell for four seasons.
