Hear PinkPantheress tap Destroy Lonely on sultry new single "Turn Your Phone Off"

PinkPantheress released her latest single, “Turn Your Phone Off,” tapping Atlanta alt-rapper Destroy Lonely for a seductive duet. The body-moving garage-style track comes right in time for summer’s hottest months.

The U.K. singer-producer recently dropped her Barbie soundtrack single “Angel” and is teasing a new album after her smash hit “Boys a Liar Pt. 2” remix with Ice Spice. Destroy Lonely dropped his latest project, If Looks Could Kill, in May and will join Playboi Carti on his Antagonist tour in the fall.

Written and produced by PinkPantheress and Alfie Auckett, the single sees her return to drum-and-bass roots with danceable, driving basslines and searing production.

“After years of having this song in the vault, I’m so happy I can release ‘Turn Your Phone Off’ with someone who has spearheaded his own sound and incorporates beautifully into mine, Destroy Lonely,” PinkPantheress says. Indeed, the low rumbles of Destry Lonely’s dulcet voice are a worthy match for the TikTok sweetheart’s sweet vocals.
