Nothing, nowhere. is teasing an upcoming collab with blackbear that appears to be featuring blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.

Can you say dream collab?

To backtrack, nothing, nowhere. previously unveiled he was working on a collaborative EP with Barker and recently dropped the first song “destruction”. Of course, that came after a few teasers that had fans wondering what was up with the two musicians.

Before we get into the new teaser, you can get a taste of the EP by listening to “destruction” below.

Now, it looks like nothing, nowhere. has included blackbear on one of the tracks, according to his tweet of the notes app.

The song is called “Back To You” and looks like it will be two-and-a-half minutes long. He didn’t give us much more information besides that, but Barker did retweet it which pretty much confirms he’s involved.

The EP is called bloodlust and drops September 20. You can see the post the artist made when he announced it below.

“Travis has been a huge influence on me my whole life. He is the reason I became interested in tattoos at a young age and was also one of the main reasons I decided to start learning how to play instruments,” nothing, nowhere said about the project. “Working with him was some of the most fun I’ve had making music. it was just an organic process, it reminded me of hanging at a friend’s house when I was younger and just creating to create.”

Barker also made a comment about his love for the artist and collaboration.

“I love making music with Joe,” he said. “He lives in a universe between genres like myself and does it so well. It’s like hanging out with an old friend that skates, listens to everything I do, and we just happen to be making music at the same time. Joe’s a triple threat, this EP showcases that.”

More news

Speaking of blackbear, a few weeks ago he dropped his song and video “Hot Girl Bummer” after receiving major pushback from fans of  Megan Thee Stallion and her  “Hot Girl Summer”.

When, blackbear announced his new single on Twitter, he was met with a lot of hate. They accused blackbear of gentrifying the slogan and stealing from Black culture in the replies.

In a since-deleted tweet, blackbear defended the song and said it isn’t a parody.

“this song is not a parody & has nothing to do with the other song.. it has to do w the caption trend #hotgirlsummer #hotgirlbummer,” he wrote.

Despite all of the negative comments, he still dropped the song with a music video. In the video, he’s shown at a party as a puppet on a string. It seems to comment on people who are fake on social media. You can see the full video and read the lyrics below.
