Josh Homme recites "Twas the Night Before Christmas" with wife and kids

“Twas the Night Before Christmas” just became super adorable thanks to the help of Josh Homme‘s wife and kids on his festive holiday recording.

The Queens Of The Stone Age frontman is currently promoting Christmas spirit with the digital release of his holiday 7″ record.

Besides his recording of “Twas the Night Before Christmas” with his wife and Distillers frontwoman Brody Dalle and “their three little elves,” the record also includes his cover of “Silent Night.”

“Silent Night” features Australian blues artist Christopher William “C.W.” Stoneking and Homme’s Queens Of The Stone Age bandmate, Dean Fertita.

Homme’s physical 7″ holiday record will be available Dec. 14 and you can pre-order it here.

In other news

The Red Dead Redemption 2 soundtrack features a contribution from the Queens of the Stone Age frontman. Homme’s track is titled “Cruel, Cruel World.” Queens of the Stone Age drummer Jon Theodore is also featured on the video game‘s soundtrack in a different song.

“Cruel, Cruel World” is one of the many songs featured in the game. The game also includes contributions from Willie Nelson, Colin Stetson and Arca.
