Panic! At The Disco win Favorite Alternative Rock Artist at 2018 American Music Awards

Panic! At The Disco won the award for Favorite Alternative Rock Artist at the 2018 American Music Awards.

The award was not announced during the live awards show, which aired live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. See a full list of winners here.

The fan-voted show will featured performances and appearances from scene favorites such as Panic! At The Discotwenty one pilotsHalseyPost Malone and more.

P!ATD also paid tribute to Queen with their performance of the band’s song “Bohemian Rhapsody” during the AMAs.

Of the song, Urie shared in a statement: “If there is one song that I wish I would have written myself, it’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody.’”

The song was written by Queen frontman Freddie Mercury in 1975, and you can watch Panic’s rendition of the track below.

Tonight’s performance of the track wasn’t the first time Panic! At The Disco covered the song.

The band originally released a cover of the iconic song for the Suicide Squad soundtrack back in 2016 and they even performed “Bohemian Rhapsody” at the 2015 APMAs.
