A ‘Harry Potter’ reunion just happened, but not in the way you may think

For those that didn’t know, Tom Felton is officially on TikTok. The Harry Potter star is taking over the video-sharing platform and treating Potterheads to constant content we didn’t know we needed until now.

Now, thanks to Felton, a Harry Potter reunion just happened, but it’s not what you think.

For a few weeks now, Harry Potter fans have been on high alert. Earlier this month, Felton revealed that he is working on a rare cast reunion for an upcoming Harry Potter anniversary.

The Harry Potter And The Sorcerer’s Stone film was released on Nov. 14, 2001. With the 19th anniversary of the movie right around the corner, Felton thinks now is the perfect time to get the cast together again.

“It’s been nice because it’s the 19th-year anniversary on Nov. 14, so I’m planning some sort of digital celebration,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “I’m trying to wrangle all the oldies back together again to celebrate the achievement really.”

Although Felton is keeping his reunion plans under lock and key, for now, he did just take part in another mini-reunion on TikTok. As part of his #Dracotok takeover, Felton has kickstarted the #Pottachallenge. He is on the hunt to find the best version of Draco Malfoy‘s infamous “Potter” line.

For the challenge, Felton knew there was only one man for the job. He reunited with his on-screen Harry Potter father Jason Isaacs who gave numerous renditions of “Potter” for the challenge. Despite Lucius Malfoy‘s intensity, Felton wasn’t too impressed with Isaacs’ execution.

Even though Isaacs may not have come out victorious in the challenge, Felton has plenty of other submissions to choose from. Since Wednesday, the #pottachallenge has accumulated over 11.5 million views on TikTok.

So while Felton continues his search, other Harry Potter fans are using TikTok to reveal secrets you’ve probably never realized before. TikTok user @juliethebibliophile recently noticed something interesting with all of the original U.S. Harry Potter book covers.

Julie realized that all of the covers actually reveal who dies in each of the books. For example, the unicorn that is killed by Voldemort appears on the cover of The Sorcerer’s Stone. Similarly, Dumbledore‘s appearance on the Half-Blood Prince book cover is a subtle reference to the character’s demise at the end of the book.
