When they’re on tour, pop-core sextet Set Your Goals routinely bum out hitchhikers (sorry dude, no room in the van) and people waiting for tables at busy restaurants. But if you’ve ever cranked up their 2006 debut, Mutiny!, or experienced their sublime melodies-for-moshing via a 103db PA system, you already know the power and positivity these guys routinely put out. Their sophomore LP (and Epitaph debut), This Will Be The Death Of Us, is louder, prouder and even more ambitious as before, fueled in part by a renewed sense of purpose. Maybe you heard their new song “The Few That Remain,” which features some girl named Hayley guesting on it? Be sure to memorize the lyrics, because they’re going to need your help singing it at the Fall Ball.
