After 13 Vans Warped Tours and now three Rockstar Taste Of Chaos’s, you would think we, as producers, would have thicker skin—and, to a point, we do. The day we posted our line-up on the website, we had to be ready for both the good and the bad reaction: Those who think we’re idiots and those who can’t wait until they see the show. That’s what is amazing about life today; you get instant feedback.
For those who hate the lineup, we’re sorry. Many of the bands you said you wanted to see were, in fact, approached, and for one reason or another could not be involved. The reasons we heard ranged from recording, having other tour plans, being out of the country or just not liking the idea of this tour. However, the lineup you see tonight includes seven bands that decided to work together to bring you one amazing show at an amazing value.
These tours are hard work. We have to put ourselves on the line both financially and emotionally. Nevertheless, there is nothing else we enjoy more than seeing you, the fans, leaving the venue, saying what a great time you had at this year’s version of the Rockstar Taste Of Chaos.
