STARS: Jude Law, Juliette Binoche, Rafi Gavron, Robin Wright Penn, Ray Winstone WHAT'S WHAT? After the London office of a landscape architect (Law) is burglarized by a young hood (Gavron), the architect starts fooling around with the kid's mom (Binoche). The architect's wife (Penn) is not pleased. SO WHAT? Written and directed by Anthony Minghella (Cold Mountain, The Talented Mr. Ripley), Breaking And Entering is gunning for the 2006 Oscars with a December release date in New York and L.A. The cast and director have obviously got the perquisite "goods"; it's unclear if the film does. - J. Bennett |
