Slipknot unveil mysterious poster at Download Festival

In the area where bands post upcoming tours and albums at the festival, a single black rectangle was posted with the Slipknot logo and the words “Live. 2020.”

More Slipknot news

Slipknot has an undoubtedly huge fanbase due to their music, aesthetics and amazing live shows.

Apparently, one of their biggest fans is pop musician and makeup/fashion designer Rihanna. Yup, you read that right.

The news comes from an unlikely source. Fashion mogul Tim Blanks posted a photo celebrating the launch of Rihanna’s new fashion line.

“The first time I met Rihanna, she told me her favourite band was Slipknot. SHE’s launching her fabulous new collection in Paris, but where are THEY now?” the caption reads.

Fans in the comments were not pleased the way Blanks dissed Slipknot, who are undoubtedly very successful. However, Blanks cleared things up in the comments when he said he’s still a “huge fan” of the band.

Rihanna is no stranger to the metal scene, as she’s been spotted wearing Judas Priest shirts and bringing a death metal logo to the VMAs a few years back.
