Mae sign to Capitol Records

Alternative Press - Scott Heisel on 5/24/06 @ 12:25 PM - altpress.com

Virginia-based emo-rock band Mae have officially made the jump to the majors and have signed with Capitol Records, leaving behind Tooth & Nail Records, who released their first two albums, including their most recent, The Everglow. The band, who recently completed the Virgin College Mega Tour, are currently writing the follow-up to that album; expect a late-2006 release.

The band aren't the only one to make the jump to Capitol recently -- the Decemberists signed there in December, and From First To Last did the same last month.
