Motion City Soundtrack release "Disappear" single

Motion City Soundtrack have issued the first music from their upcoming fourth album, My Dinosaur Life. The song, titled "Disappear," can be streamed below or downloaded for free here. My Dinosaur Life will be out in early 2010 on Columbia Records.

Mew, Jay Reatard, more announced as support for the Pixies "Doolittle Tour"

The Pixies have revealed support acts for their tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of their 1989 album, Doolittle. Mew, Jay Reatard, Bad Lieutenant (featuring Bernard Sumner of New Order and Joy Division), No Age, Black Gold and Rain Machine (featuring Kyp Malone of TV On The Radio). In addition, the Pixies added a third and final Chicago show to the U.S. leg of the tour which launched September 30 in Dublin, Ireland.

The Pixies will be performing all of the songs from Doolittle and its B-sides like "Weird At My School," "Dancing The Manta Ray" and "Bailey's Walk."

A Day To Remember scold security after a fan is punched

A Day To Remember frontman Jeremy McKinnon went off Saturday night after a security guard allegedly punched a teenager at their show in Ocala, Florida. During the nearly three-minute, curse-laden onstage response to the violence, McKinnon says, "These are my fuckin' friends, this is our fuckin' show and you don't put your fuckin' hands on one of these kids." McKinnon also goes onto thank the security guards at the show who didn't take part in the incident: "It is not cool to disrespect security at any cost. They are here to protect you guys. They are here to make sure this show goes over right. And by all means, to the security guards who are doing their job, thank you so much for being a part of this."

New Found Glory debut "Don't Let Her Pull You Down" video

New Found Glory have debuted a zombie-themed music video for their song "Don't Let Her Pull You Down". In celebration of the release of the video, the band have also put together a special poster, vinyl, and shirt bundle.
Along with "Don't Let Her Pull You Down", the 7" vinyl features the B-side "I'm the Fool" which was originally only available through iTunes and their Japanese release of Not Without A Fight.
