Fireworks / We Are The Union hitting the road

Pop-punks Fireworks will be heading out on a month-long tour that kicks off on Tax Day. They'll be accompanied by ska-pop-punks We Are The Union.

Fireworks recently issued their debut full-length, All I Have To Offer Is My Own Confusion, on Triple Crown. We Are The Union self-released Who We Are in 2007.

Saves The Day announce new guitarist

Saves The Day have announced their new guitarist: Arun Bali. He'll also be handling backup vocals.

Bali replaces David Soloway, who left the band earlier this year.

He'll imaginably be in the lineup when the band head out on tour with Alkaline Trio later this month.

The song comes from 2007's A Flair For The Dramatic on Equal Vision, the followup of which the band has begun writing.

Hatebreed's "Ghosts Of War" (Slayer cover) video posted

Hatebreed's video for "Ghosts Of War," their cover of the Slayer song of the same name, has been posted.

The cut comes from their covers album, For The Lions, due out May 5th on E1 Entertainment (formerly KOCH Records).

Verse announce last shows

After some uncertainty arising from their recent breakup, Providence hardcore act Verse have announced their final two shows.

Both will take place in Providence, RI at AS220. The May 22nd lineup will feature Shipwreck, I Rise, Saint Jude and Product Of Waste. The May 23rd lineup the next day will have Crime In Stereo, Soul Control, Wasteland and the Body opening.

The band last released Aggression on BridgeNine last year.
