Cedric Bixler-Zavala hints at At The Drive-In reunion

Rachel Lux on 6/11/09 @ 11:35 AM

In a recent interview, the Mars Volta's Cedric Bixler-Zavala said an At The Drive-In reunion "might happen." Here's the full quote:

"We've been making amends with a lot of the members and having some really good talks with them. And we've been trying to get our financial business in order because a lot of people have been ripping off that band really badly ... as far as the business side goes. I wouldn't mind it. You know, it might happen. We just have to iron out a lot of personal things. A lot of it we've dealt with already and I've apologized for a lot of things I've said and the way it ended. We'll see what happens."

At The Drive-In broke up in 2001, with its respective members going on to form the Mars Volta and Sparta.

Billy Talent get creative with special edition

Laila Hanson on 6/11/09 @ 11:26 AM

Canada's Billy Talent want to make the deluxe edition of their upcoming album, Billy Talent III extra special. With the "Guitar Villan" edition of the album, fans can listen to a guitar-less version of the CD so they can play along. Posters with the tabs to all the songs will be included. Never fear, though, the regular album will also be included, as well as demo versions of some of the songs.
