Butthole Surfers, Naked Raygun, 16 more added to Riot Fest

We were impressed when annual Chicago punk festival Riot Fest announced their first batch of bands two weeks ago (including NOFX, the Dead Milkmen and Alkaline Trio), but now we're straight blown away: Organizers have confirmed that the legendary Butthole Surfers have been added to the five-day celebration this October, along with 17 other bands, including the equally legendary Naked Raygun as well as 88 Fingers Louie, New Bomb Turks, Youth Brigade and many more.

The lineups for some of the shows have also been confirmed; take a peek below to see who's playing what venue and where (and keep in mind, there are still three venues--Subterranean, Double Door and Cobra Lounge--that haven't announced any shows yet):

Travis Barker of Blink 182 is keeping his plate full. When he's not planning for that slightly important reunion tour or collaborating with pal DJ AM, he's busy remixing songs. According to Barker's Twitter, he's working on a Shwayze remix. Anyone else hoping to hear a drum-infused version of "Buzzin'"?

Green Day to debut video for "21 Guns"

Punk icons Green Day have announced that they will premiere the video for their new single, "21 Guns," at midnight on June 21st on MySpace Music. The video was directed by Marc Webb (My Chemical Romance, Weezer). "21 Guns" is the second single from 21st Century Breakdown, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.
