Bouncing Souls announce Halloween party, more

The Bouncing Souls have unveiled plans for a few special shows to take place this week. On Thursday, the band will play a "Happy Hour" show at Hensley's Flying Elephant in Carlsbad, California. The following two days, the Souls will perform a two-night stand at the El Rey in Hollywood. The Halloween show on the 31st will feature a costume contest with prizes for winners in the following categories:
Scariest
Best Homemade
Best Couple
Best Group/Family
Most Original
Best Under 14

Prizes include a one-year subscription to AP, gift certificates for Souls merch, free shoes from Vans, vinyl and more. Sign up for the contest before the show at the merch table.

New Fall Out Boy song available a day early

Fall Out Boy's new single, "Alpha Dog," is now available on iTunes. It was originally scheduled to debut tomorrow. The song comes from the band's upcoming greatest hits comp, Believers Never Die: Greatest Hits, which is set for release Nov. 17. Listen to the song and buy it here.

The video for 3OH!3's "Starstrukk" featuring Katy Perry debuted today on MTV. We brought you exclusive photos from the clip last week, and now you can check out the full video below. The song is currently featured in the trailer for the movie When In Rome starring Kristen Bell and Josh Duhamel, and will be featured on the soundtrack to the film which is slated for release in January.

This Wednesday, everyone who buys a ticket to a LiveNation club show during the company's "No Service Fees Wednesday" promotion will be entered to win an "Ultimate Access Pass" to the venue for which they buy their ticket. The pass is good for admission to every show at the venue in 2010, and each LiveNation venue will have a winner. The names of the winners will be posted at 12 p.m. EST on Oct. 29 here.
