If you were a fan of our AP&R alums A Kiss Could Be Deadly, turn up your speakers for the side project from 2/5ths of that band. The stripped-down electro-pop duo are releasing their debut album, Automatic on August 18. It is entirely self-produced and self-released, and the band will be following up its drop with a brief tour, dates of which you can see on their MySpace. The band has collaborated with Breathe Carolina, Watchout There's Ghosts and more on songs in the past.

What do Conor Oberst (Bright Eyes), Jim James (My Morning Jacket) and M. Ward (She & Him) have in common? They're all big fans of indie and folk, and want you to know it. That's why the trio have formed a supergroup called Monsters Of Folk. Their first song "Say Please" is already available for streaming on their website if you solve a puzzle first. If you like what you hear, make sure to pick up their debut album on September 22, when it comes out via Shangri La.

Unearth guitarist to sub for Lamb of God's Morton toward end of Euro tour

Buz McGrath, the guitarist for thrash-metal band Unearth, will step in for Lamb of God's ax wielder, Mark Morton, on the last six stops of the band's European tour.
