THE GASLIGHT ANTHEM HITTING THE ROAD

The Gaslight Anthem will be hitting the road next month in support of their forthcoming record, The '59 Sound. Joining the band for the majority of the trip are American Steel, with Polar Bear on the first leg and O Pioneers!!! on the second.

The '59 Sound is set for release via Side One Dummy on August 19, following up the recent Señor and the Queen EP (Sabot) and last year's Sink or Swim (XOXO).

THRICE TO PART WAYS WITH VAGRANT?

Thrice's contract with Vagrant Records is officially done, according to guitarist Teppei Teranshini in a recent interview, and the band seem open-ended as to their next move.

"We only signed with them for this project [The Alchemy Index]," said Teranshini. "We don't know what we're going to do next, but that's a good thing. I like not being tied into anything. Especially with the state of flux the music business is in."

The band has spent time on a number of labels including Sub-City/Hopeless and Island as well as Vagrant.

The aforementioned Alchemy Index spanned two full-length releases (and four volumes) with Vagrant, who issued Fire and Water in 2007 and Air and Earth several months ago.

ANBERLIN POST "DISAPPEAR"

Anberlin has premiered a song off their forthcoming record, New Surrender, in the form of "Disappear." You can find it streaming on their MySpace page.

The band's major label debut for Universal Republic, New Surrender is set for release on September 30. The band last released Cities and the collections disc Lost Songs on Tooth & Nail in 2007.

SCREAM HELLO POST VIDEO FOR "YOU HAVE GOOD TASTE"

Baseball fanatics Scream Hello have posted their new video for "You Have Good Taste," which incidentally is a montage of footage from "Gilmore Girls."

The track derives from the band's proper debut full-length, Everything Is Always Still Happening, due out September 9 via Red Leader and following up a pair of EPs: 2006's The Infinite Son and the recent Smart & Stupid.

THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA PREMIERE NEW VIDEO

Christian metalcore six-piece (who recently jumped ship from Rise Records to their new home at Ferret) have premiered their new video for "HTML Rulez D00d" on the Headbanger's Blog. The clip, which was produced by Endeavor Media (TDWP, August Burns Red, Tokyo Rose), can be seen down below.

The song is on the band's sophomore effort, Plagues, which came out last year.

The song comes from Bird Of Prey, set to be unleashed on Hydra Head July 22, following up last year's Harmonic Tremors.
