Mayday Parade to co-headline the AP Tour Fall Ball

Florida-based modern-rock act Mayday Parade have been confirmed as the fifth act and the second of two co-headliners on this fall's AP Tour, which has been dubbed the Fall Ball. Mayday will join fellow co-headliners the Academy Is..., as well as Bay Area pop-hardcore sextet Set Your Goals, Dallas-based electro-pop act the Secret Handshake and U.K. sensations You Me At Six on the tour, which will traverse North America from late September to late November. You can watch a video of Mayday Parade announcing their participation in the Fall Ball below.

EMI/MRV sign The Sunstreak

EMI Records/MRV Music have signed their latest act, Warped Tour and Bamboozle alums The Sunstreak. The band's first single, "Until I Met You" hits the radio airwaves on August 31 and their debut major label album Once Upon A Lie will be in stores starting September 22. Until then, head over to the band's MySpace to hear some new songs posted from that album including "Once Upon A Lie," "What Else Can I Do" and "Everyday."

Victory Records sign Otep, announce tour details

Victory Records' latest signing of LA-based metal group Otep has already been keeping the band busy. Their next album Smash The Control Machine will hit stores on August 18 and the band will head out on the road with fellow Victory artists Destrophy and Chicago-based Seven Year Existence starting in August.
