Foo Fighters plan 2008 tour with Against Me!


Alternative rock scene staple Foo Fighters plan to hit the road in early 2008 with Against Me! The tour, in support of Foo Fighters' latest release, Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace (RCA), kicks off on Jan. 16, 2008 in Miami, FL.

Circle Takes The Square post new live track

Spastic progressive hardcore/screamo visionaries Circle Takes The Square have posted a live recording of a new song titled "Ritual Of Names" over on their MySpace page. The song is broken up into two parts, and was recorded at Jillian's in Las Vegas, Nevada last month. The band recently wrapped up a tour with Thursday and is said to be currently working on a follow-up to their last album, 2004's As The Roots Undo.

Mike Glita leaves Senses Fail


Bassist Mike Glita has decided to leave Senses Fail to pursue personal endeavors. The band announced the news via Myspace blog:
Dear Loyal Fans,

We regret to inform you today that our bassist, Mike Glita, has decided to part ways with the band. There are no hard feelings involved with his decision; Mike simply wants to move on and pursue personal ventures and feats he has put on hold for the last 5 years. We all had a good talk about it and wish him nothing but the best.

Something Mike would like to say to the fans:

"Thanks to everyone who supported the band and me through 'thick and thin' over the past 5 ½ years. You'll be missed greatly."

As for the four of us (Buddy, Dan, Garrett, Heath), we will continue Senses Fail and see you all next year on tour. We began the writing process last week for our follow up to Still Searching and will keep everyone up to date with videos, photos and blogs!

Again, apologies go out to the loyal fans for the bad news, but we hope you support his decision as much as we do.
