North Carolina metal quintet Advent (featuring three ex-members of Beloved) have inked a deal with Solid State Records. The band's debut full length, Remove The Earth, is set to hit shelves nationwide on Feb. 12, 2008.

Advent frontman Joe Musten (ex-Beloved drummer):
"The three of us grew up together listening to the heavy stuff. It was bands like Buried Alive, Strongarm and Turmoil that really inspired us. I always wanted to be a frontman and get in people's faces. I enjoy the screaming and I always believed I had something to say."

AP Exclusive: From First To Last tour diary (wrap-up)

Alternative Press - Rachel Lux on 12/11/07 @ 4:30 PM - altpress.com

One of the most anticipated tours of this fall was the return of From First To Last, and we were so excited about it that we asked FFTL to keep a weekly diary of the experience. The wrap-up is below; you can read part one here, part two here, part three here and part four here. Enjoy!
Last week of tour and man has it been a hell of a tour. I am so thankful to have been able to spend the last few months surrounded by great people, being able to play music. From Blessthefall, A Skylit Drive and Mia Medusa from the first leg to Vanna, Pierce The Veil and Four Year on the second, we have had a blast and I am priviledged to have been able to share the stage and road with them. I would also like to thank all of you guys who have come out to the shows and supported us or any of the other bands. Thank you thank you thank you. This tour has been rad and you guys played the biggest part in that. Last but certainly not least I want to thank AP for giving us this opportunity to share our thoughts and experiences (however jumbled and poorly punctuated) with their readers, who may or may not be fans of our band. Thank you all again and I hope I see you guys on the road next time .
Take care,
Derek (and the rest of FFTL)
