Dashboard Confessional announce intimate U.K. shows

The Chris Carrabba-led semi-acoustic pop/rock group known as Dashboard Confessional have announced a string of club shows in the U.K. to follow up their stint opening arenas for Maroon 5.

Dashboard Confessional will be in support of their latest album The Shade Of Poison Trees.

All That Remains to tour North America in 2008


Massachusetts' metal-core unit All That Remains have scheduled a full headlining tour of the States. The tour, in support of their latest release The Fall Of Ideals (Prosthetic Records), features Chimaira, Five Finger Death Punch, Light This City and Divine Heresy supporting on select dates.

Jimmy Eat World to join Foo Fighters' 2008 U.S. tour


Alt-rock heavyweights Jimmy Eat World and Foo Fighters have teamed up for a string of U.S. dates. JEW will be joining FF and Florida's finest punk-rock unit Against Me! on their upcoming U.S. tour from Jan. 16 - Jan. 25. The tour, which will more than likely sell out in 2.5 seconds, kicks off on Jan. 16 in Miami, FL.

Sigur Ros to screen new documentary

Iceland's finest instrumentalists Sigur Ros will screen their new documentary Heima at a handful of movie theaters across the U.S. this month. Heima, which translates to "at home" or "homeland," was released on DVD Nov. 20 via XL Recordings. Tickets for the screenings are available here.
