Beck's Odelay gets reissue treatment

Alternative Press - Rachel Lux on 12/19/07 @ 4:03 PM - altpress.com

Nearly 12 years after it was released (and more than a year after it was initially announced), Beck's (you know, Beck) breakthrough album Odelay will be released as a deluxe edition reissue.

The two-disc reissue, due Jan. 29, 2008, on Geffen/UMe, will include two never-before-released tracks from the original recording sessions, a soundtrack number and 16 B-sides and comp tracks that haven't seen the light of day in the U.S. until now.

Now for your daily blast from the past: Check out the vid of Beck's performance of "Where It's At" from the 1997 Grammy Awards. (Pardon the intro by Ellen...)
