Wire post new song

Long-running English art-punks Wire have unveiled an MP3 from their forthcoming album, Object 47. The song is called "One Of Us" You can check it out here.

Object 47 is due out July 7 on the band's own label, Pink Flag. The album's name derives after the fact that it will be the band's 47th release.

Boris headed out with Torche and Clouds

Experimental Japanese outfit Boris will be traversing US soil next month alongside Hydra Head labelmates Torche and Clouds (Cave In).

All three bands are supporting 2008 full-lengths: Boris with Smiles; Torche with Meanderthal; and Clouds with We Are Above You, which is set for release June 17.

Election Day post new songs

Upstate New York-based hardcore quintet Election Day have posted new songs. You can check out "Trade Winds," "Blueprint" and "Lateral Movement" at their MySpace page. The band notes that the songs are "95% mastered."

All three will be available on CD on their summer tour for a "very modest contribution."

That tour will find them alongside Like Wolves.

The band's four-song demo is still available for free download.
