The lineup has been announced for the second annual Treasure Island Music Festival in San Francisco on September 20 and 21. The lineup will feature acts like those in the article's headline, Tegan And Sara, Foals, Hot Chip, Tokyo Police Club and Vampire Weekend among others.

Butch Walker posts new demos

Butch Walker has posted four new demos on his MySpace page.

Walker's last proper album was 2006's The Rise And Fall Of Butch Walker And The Let's-Go-Out-Tonites on Epic, though he recently digitally released a live album titled Leavin' The Game On Luckie Street. Walker will reportedly release his next album, Sycamore Meadows, this summer on limited vinyl.

Philadelphia math-metalcore act A Life Once Lost are touring with Connecticut mosh metal band Emmure, Chicago death metal outfit Veil Of Maya, and humorous grindcore unit The Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaganza from the end of June through the beginning of August. August Burns Red will also be joining in the shenanigans for one stop at the Imperial Inn in Rapid City, South Dakota July 17. Dates:

Less Than Jake post new song

Less Than Jake has posted the first song off their forthcoming full-length, GNV FLA. The song is titled "Does The Lion City Still Roar?" and can be found in MP3 format (!) here.

GNV FLA marks not only the band's return to independent waters after releasing three full-lengths on Reprise (2003's Anthem, 2004's B Is For B-Sides, 2006's In With The Out Crowd), but DIY-ness: The album is set for release on the band's own label, Sleep It Off Records, June 24th.
