Decaydance shows planned w/Gym Class Heroes, Academy Is

On select off-dates of this summer's Warped Tour, Decaydance will present shows featuring three bands from their label--Gym Class Heroes, Cobra Starship and Four Year Strong--as well as one band from their sister label, the Academy Is.... Dates are below.

Get Outta Town Records has signed Connecticut youth crew revivalists Offsides.

The label will be releasing their debut EP, It's A Struggle To Communicate, July 22. You can check out two tracks at the band's MySpace page.

Fat Wreck Chords has posted a song from the upcoming Me First And The Gimme Gimmes album, Have Another Ball. You can check out an MP3 of "Country Roads" (originally by John Denver) here.

Have Another Ball is made up of songs recorded during the sessions for 1997's debut, Have A Ball, but will be seeing the light for the first time on July 8. It's the "followup" to 2006's Love Their Country.

Old 97's heading out with Sleepercar

Y'alternative dudes, the Old 97's will be heading out for some US dates next month with Jim Ward's folk/alt-country vehicle, Sleepercar.

Old 97's are supporting their new record on New West, Blame It On Gravity. Sleepercar recently unleashed his debut on Doghouse, West Texas.

Glassjaw's Justin Beck talks new album

Incomparable Glassjaw mastermind Justin Beck (very) recently talked to fansite Glassjaw.net.

Thirteen songs have been written for their long overdue full-length, for which Beck promises a "release well before the end of the year."

While Beck answers a question wondering where hype could be derived from, he goes on to say that "the real new shit, is on some next level shit."
