Adai announce new EP, post song

Denver post-metal duo Adai has announced info on their upcoming EP, ...I Carry, recorded with Kurt Ballou (Modern Life Is War, Trap Them).

The EP will be out late summer / early fall on Radar. You can check out an MP3 of "Hawkins" here.

Ligeia posts new song

The good news is, that metalcore mavens Ligeia have posted a new song to their MySpace page. The "Bad News" is, that's the name of the song.

It's from their upcoming album of the same name, due on Ferret August 5, following up 2006's Your Ghost Is A Gift.

The summer tour dates continue to roll out. Indie collective Annuals is the latest, announcing some.

The band are touring in support of 2006's Be He Me (Ace Fu), as well as a recent split EP with Sunfold titled Wet Zoo, and the 2007 EPs Big Zeus and Frelen Mas.

The Ergs! announce tour dates

New Jersey pop-punks the Ergs! have announced some summer tour dates.

The band will be out in support of last year's Upstairs/Downstairs (Dirtnap), as well as the recently released Insubordination Fest 2007 CD/DVD set (Insubordination) and a few 7"s: Blue (Toxic Pop / Wall Ride), and splits with Grabass Charlestons (No Idea) and Lemuria (Whoa Oh).

The band also recently appeared on The Right To Assemble - Volume 2 (Soul Rebel), which features a slew of New Jersey punk/hardcore acts. You can check out the band's contribution, "Blahblahblahfuckyou," at their MySpace page.

The Raveonettes shuffle lineup for summer tour

The Raveonettes have shuffled their lineup a bit for their upcoming summer tour.

Bassist/guitarist/vocalist Sharin Foo will be replaced by her sister Louise. Foo is taking time to ensure the birth of her child goes well.

The duo released Lust, Lust, Lust on Fierce Panda last year.

Mogwai announces new album, tour dates

Glasgow post-rockers Mogwai have announced a release date for their forthcoming LP, The Hawk Is Howling, as well as some tour dates.

Following up 2006's Mr. Beast, the album is due out September 23 via Matador, with a September 22 release for their home country UK.

The release will be preceded by The Batcat EP, which will have two non-album songs and one from Howling. It's due out September 9, September 8 in the UK.
