So Many Dynamos post new song

St. Louis, MO's So Many Dynamos has posted a new song to their MySpace page.

The song is titled "New Bones" and is from their upcoming full-length, title to be determined, which they wrapped up work on in August 2007 with producer and Death Cab For Cutie guitarist Chris Walla (Tegan And Sara, the Decemberists). It seems the band are also in the midst of looking for a label to release it.

The band last released Flashlights in 2006 (Skrocki).

The Offspring post full stream of new album

The Offspring have posted a full stream of their new album, Rise And Fall, Rage And Grace. You can check it out here.

Rise And Fall, Rage And Grace is the band's first album with new drummer Pete Parada (ex-Saves The Day / Face To Face). It's also the band's first studio album since 2003's Splinter, and is due out via Columbia on June 17, though the band also released a Greatest Hits in 2005.

Maria Taylor is touring the US in support of 2007's Saddle Creek-backed Lynn Teeter Flower.

The Action Design (ex-Tsunami Bomb) set to release debut

The Action Design, featuring former Tsunami Bomb members Matt McKenzie and Emily Whitehurst, have a release date set for their debut full-length, Never Say.

The album will hit stores September 23 via PopSmear, following up last year's Into A Sound EP.

The band, who was one of our 100 To Watch in 2008, has quite a few dates coming up as well, including a stint on the Warped Tour and a co-headlining jaunt with Killola.

New Gainesville, FL punk label Sound Study Recordings -- started up by ex-As Friends Rust / Salem / Currents members Matt Finch, Tom Rankin and Joe Simmons -- has posted some live songs to their MySpace page.

The songs are live versions of Young Livers' "Fair Well" and Army Of Ponch's "America's #1 Snack Cake."

The tracks are taken from the Young Livers / Army Of Ponch's volume in the label's "Live At The Atlantic" 7" series. This particular volume is set for release in varied colors on August 2.

Dropkick Murphys, Devo, the Hold Steady to play fest

The Second Annual Paul Green School Of Rock Festival has announced its lineup. Set to take place June 27-29, Devo, Dropkick Murphys, Butthole Surfers, Less Than Jake, Goldfinger, the Hold Steady, Westbound Train, Suburban Legends and Sound Of Urchin, among others, will be playing.

The festival will take place in Philadelphia, PA, across five stages each day at Penn's Landing, with an opening night at The Electric Factory.
