Matt Pryor (The New Amsterdams, ex-the Get Up Kids) heading out with Chris Conley (Saves The Day), Kevin Devine

Alternative Press - Brian Shultz on 6/11/08 @ 12:43 PM - altpress.com

Matt Pryor, currently of the New Amsterdams and the Terrible Twos and formerly of the Get Up Kids, will be heading out on a solo tour in support of his upcoming "debut," Confidence Man, due out on Vagrant July 29. While Pryor will headline some dates, others will feature a co-headlining slot with Saves The Day's Chris Conley or Brooklyn, NY's Kevin Devine.

Conley does not seem to be planning a solo release himself, though he is busy with his Two Tongues project with Max Bemis and Coby Linder of Say Anything and Saves The Day bandmate David Soloway. Saves The Day is also tentatively releasing Daybreak towards the end of the year or early 2009.

Devine last issued Put Your Ghost To Rest (Capitol) in 2006 and a self-released 2007 Tour EP, though the former was recently reissued by Brand New's Procrastinate! Music Traitors label.
