Dear And The Headlights announce dates, complete recording

Equal Vision indie rockers Dear And The Headlights have wrapped up recording on their sophomore full-length and announced some tour dates for the summer.

The album, recorded with producer Bob Hoag (Versus The Mirror, Joel Plaskett, Hour Of The Wolf) who also handled 2007's Small Steps, Heavy Hooves, is as yet untitled and will be released in the fall.

The band will be headlining some shows with Paper Rival in tow this summer, though they'll support Jimmy Eat World in between some of those dates.

War Of Ages post new song clip

Packing equal amounts of shred and mosh, Christian metalcore act War Of Ages have unveiled a brief clip of a new song. It's titled "Sleep Of Prisoners" and you can hear it on their MySpace page.

The band will be putting out their new album, Arise And Conquer, on July 22 with Facedown. The record features production from As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis, and will be the follow-up to 2007's Fire From The Tomb.

Cryptopsy want you to "Worship Your Demons" with new video

Canadian technical death metal legends Cryptopsy have premiered their new video for "Worship Your Demons" on the Headbanger's Blog. The video was shot by David Brodsky (GWAR, Soilent Green) and the track will be on the band's forthcoming Century Media album, The Unspoken King, due out June 24.

You can view the brutal clip here, or down below. The video will also be on MTV2 this Saturday night (June 14).

None More Black's Colin McGinniss forms new band, posts demos

Guitarist Colin McGinniss, of the recently reunited None More Black, has formed a new hardcore act along with former and current members of One Up, Crumber and Go Time.

The band is called Aneurysm Rats and you can check out some rough material at their MySpace page.

Around the time of the original breakup of None More Black, McGinniss had also formed Ram & Ox along with NMB bassist Paul Delaney, but that band has reportedly broken up since.

Cobra Starship Spanish version video for "Guilty Pleasure" posted

Cobra Starship's Spanish version video for "Guilty Pleasure" has been posted. You can check it out here.

The band had recently re-recorded the single in Spanish and decided to edit the video to go along with it.

The English version can be found on 2007's ¡Viva La Cobra! (Decaydance). However, in AP 239, frontman Gabe Saporta hinted at the possibility of the entire album being re-recorded in Spanish, in part reflecting his own heritage.
