Aborted streams entire new album

Belgian's brutal death metal outfit Aborted are currently streaming their sixth brand new full-length, Strychnine.213, in its entirety on their MySpace page. The album, set for a June 24 release via Century Media, is said to "retain [the band's] vicious roots while evolving in terms of melody, musical virtuosity and vigor." Catch them live as a part of this year's Summer Slaughter Tour. Dates below:

Beck album, tour dates announced

Info on the upcoming record from genre-hopping veteran singer/songwriter Beck has been revealed.

The album is titled Modern Guilt and was produced with Brian "Danger Mouse" Burton. Geffen subsidiary DGC will be releasing the album in North American on July 8, while XL will handle the release in the UK and Europe on July 7.

Some tour dates have been announced as well, with more on the way.

Beck's last effort was 2006's The Information.

Hawthorne Heights post clip of new single

Hawthorne Heights have teased fans with a brief clip of their new single, "Rescue Me," now streaming on their MySpace page.

The full song will be on their upcoming full-length, Fragile Future, out on Victory August 5, having reconciled their differences with the label.

The band last released If Only You Were Lonely in 2006.

My America Is Watching Tigers Die post "Xanax Zombies"

On the eve of their tour with Black Market Activities metalcore band Romans, verbose technical noisecore quartet My America Is Watching Tigers Die have posted a brand new song titled "Xanax Zombies." Give it a listen on their MySpace page.

The song will be on their new CD, Stone Age, due out July 8 on Pluto Records.

The band kicks off their summer tour tomorrow in Frederick, Maryland; you can find all the dates here.

Altsounds Records forms, signs Winch House

Altsounds.com has formed a record label, Altsounds Records, and signed Wales, UK power-pop-rockers Winch House as their first act.

The label claims the band "[lives] on a diet of Mayday Parade, All Time Low, Taking Back Sunday and Valencia amongst many others."

The band will release their debut single, Sweet Taste Of Summer, on August 18. You can stream the title track here.

The full-length followup will be out later this year.
