Finale (Keith Buckley) post cover of the Shins

Indie duo Finale, who feature Every Time I Die frontman Keith Buckley, have posted a cover of the Shins' "Gone for Good" on their MySpace page.

The original song appears on the Shins' 2003 effort, Chutes Too Narrow.

Finale is seemingly looking to release their debut, Long, Cold Sound, later this year.

Against Me! posts 'New Wave' B-side

Against Me! has posted "So Much More," a B-side from New Wave that appears on the album's deluxe version. You can check it out on their MySpace page.

New Wave [Deluxe] features several other B-side cuts from the original album and was released today via French label Fargo Records.

Damiera full stream, dates with Dr. Manhattan and the Gay Blades posted

Damiera's upcoming Quiet Mouth, Loud Hands has been made available for streaming in full right here.

The album is set for release June 24 via Equal Vision, following up EV's 2006 reissue of 2005's M(US)ic.

Speaking of M(US)ic, the band has made that album free to download to anyone who signs up for their mailing list (via their website or Myspace page) through the 23rd.

Additionally, some dates have been revealed for a run with Dr. Manhattan and the Gay Blades.

Girl Talk finish new album, set release for this week

Pittsburgh, PA's Girl Talk has completed his new album, Feed The Animals, and has already made plans to release it digitally this Thursday, June 19, via Illegal Art on a donation basis รก la Radiohead's In Rainbows.

However, owner Philo Farnsworth says if purchasers "spend, say, $5 or $10, they'll get not only the album, but FLAC files and a physical copy when they're available."

The physical release is planned for September.

Girl Talk last released 2006's Night Ripper.

Gridlink (ex-Discordance Axis) announces new album

Gridlink, who feature former Discordance Axis vocalist Jon Chang, have announced intentions to release Amber Gray, their upcoming album, June 17 on Hydra Head.

The band will head out for some US dates with Hayaino Daisuki as well.
