Atreyu ready to get "Angry"

Atreyu are hard at work on their new album, and already the band says it will be an angrier disc than their last effort.

Singer Alex Varkatzas notes, "The songs definitely have a dark, heavier feel and I think the current climate has a lot to do with that. Personally, I just feel angry and it's coming out in the music." The vocalist says things like failed bailouts, unemployment, and troops still in Iraq are helping fuel his songwriting. He adds, "I watch all this stuff on the news and it carries over to the sessions. It gets me fired up."

I hope alex puts a little more screaming in this record than the last one. it seems fitting since it's gonna be "angry".
