Green Day announce 21st Century Breakdown release date

Green Day's upcoming album, 21st Century Breakdown, has been given an official release date. The record is slated to hit the streets on May 15th.

Curiously, May 15th is actually a Friday.

The first single, "Know Your Enemy," is expected to hit radio in April.

It seems like for some reason, more and more albums aren't being released on Tuesdays, which is what I thought the standard was.

Movies usually come out on Friday, and it's a concept album/rock opera, right? That's more like a movie, except better. xD
