Angels & Airwaves' first U.S. dates, album title/release date

Angels & Airwaves -- DeLonge, guitarist Dave Kennedy (Box Car Racer/Hazen St), bassist Ryan Sinn (the Distillers) and drummer Atom Willard (the Offspring/Rocket From The Crypt) -- have also firmed up their first-ever batch of tour dates. AVA's first show will take place April 12 at the Glass House in Pomona, California; after heading overseas for the Give It A Name festival at the end of April, the band will embark on a brief U.S./Canada tour in May, before hopping back across the pond for some more U.K. shows in June. Official music from the band has been hard to come by, but a handful of reportedly unmixed and unmastered tracks have leaked out on the internet in past months. In response to the demand, the band posted both the audio and the short film for the song "The Adventure." The film is not expected to be taken from the Angels & Airwaves movie -- slated for theatrical release later this year -- however, based on the trailer footage for the film the band have previously posted on their website.
