2008 was a great year for these boys. I'm so proud of them getting to be Band of the Year.

Color me disappointed.
My sister and I actually had a conversation about them last night. Think back to a year ago, and ATL was just the aprevation for the dirty south city of atlanta. Now its 3 letters girls swoon over. My congratulations go out to them for coming so far in just over a year. Although its not my favorite music in the world, it helps when you need to cut loose. Throw your dancing shoes on and lets get it poppin.

One year ago today I saw these boys in an armory in torrington, ct. there was no barricade, no screaming girls, and they were just hanging out. now, look how far they've come. this is incredible.

I'm mad :/ i wanted it to be the Academy Is... even though I like All Time Low, i think TAI deserved it.
Ive havent been this angry since Paramore won last year. Why can't people vote on how good the band's music is? Not on how cool the lead singer's hair is. In a year where the chiodos, rise against, panic!, falloutboy, the academy is... and Anthony Green come out with albums, All Time Low is what people voted for? This is by far worse than last year.

Okay, so four releases. Four releases, that probably all sound the same. Yes, that is the definition of accomplished.
Amen to what dannik said. Anybody who is sitting there bashing them over this amazing accomplishment is just pathetic as they are saying ATL is. I'm not just saying this because they're my favorite band. I'm saying it for any band who is ever bashed. All Time Low is a great band whose songs all have a different sound. To Side_Effect, go listen to Circles then listen to Remembering Sunday and tell me that they sound the same. And one last thing to any bashers, have you even taken the time to listen to all of their songs before claiming that they're a shitty band?

After tracking down a few song on youtube I have come to the conclusion that supercori! is right. All of their songs have a different sound. Just like all of their songs aren't verse chorus verse chorus bridge end. And just like it's not 4 palm muted chords with the some octaves behind it. Give me a break. Whoever made the comment about the band who wins should really be the best and not who has the best hair is absolutely correct.

I have seen ATL four times, determined to like their music. I have their EPs and CDs. However, compared to the other bands that were up for this, I don't think ATL's progress this year can compare.
