Finch taking "indefinite break" from music

Finch have announced that they are taking an indefinite break from music starting immediately. This comes after months of speculation about the band's future. The group posted a goodbye statement on their website, in part reading:
"Through much though and deliberation, the five of us have decided to take an indefinite break from Finch. Amongst the many reasons for our decision, our individual priorities just lie in different places."
The band's most recent effort was 2005's Drive-Thru/Geffen-released
Say Hello To Sunshine; that was followed by both a headlining tour with Rx Bandits last fall and a tour supporting HIM in late 2005. One member of the group, drummer Marc Allen, has already been trying to
recruit members for his new project, Hell On Earth Band.
