SOUL CONTROL TO RELEASE QUARTET OF ONE-SONG 7"SPosted by Brian Shultz on 05-Jul-08 @ 02:25 PM
Providence, RI hardcore quartet Soul Control will be releasing four one-song, one-sided 7"s in the coming months. The 7"s will be part of a larger project by the band, with the covers of each coming together to form one image.
Four different labels will be respectively releasing each of the four 7"s: Triple B Records, Teenage Disco Bloodbath (TDB) Records, Hex Records and Dead But Dreaming Records. Each first pressing will be approximately 500. The band will enter the The Getaway Group studio with Jay Maas (Verse, Shipwreck A.D.) on July 16 to record the four songs. The material will be the band's first with new vocalist Rory Vangrol (Achilles, ex-How We Are). In other news, the band has canceled their European tour which was set to take place next month, due to financial issues. They say they'll be using the time to write and record their long-awaited debut full-length. The band last released the collections disc Involution in 2007 on Rivalry Records, with their former vocalist Matt Amore. |
