Mogwai announces new album, tour dates

Glasgow post-rockers Mogwai have announced a release date for their forthcoming LP, The Hawk Is Howling, as well as some tour dates.

Following up 2006's Mr. Beast, the album is due out September 23 via Matador, with a September 22 release for their home country UK.

The release will be preceded by The Batcat EP, which will have two non-album songs and one from Howling. It's due out September 9, September 8 in the UK.
