Second batch of Alkaline Trio/Against Me! dates announced

Just 24 short hours after announcing the first batch of shows, Alkaline Trio have announced the remaining dates for "The Occult Roots of Alkaline Trio: Early Songs for Eerie People" tour, featuring special guest Against Me!. The tour will find the trio playing both acoustic and electric sets, and playing songs spanning their entire catalog.

Alkaline Trio had a busy 2005, both releasing their new album Crimson on Vagrant Records last April, then reissuing it this past December. The pop-punk trio also spent all fall touring with My Chemical Romance. This upcoming tour will be their first of 2006.

Against Me! also had their biggest year of their career in 2005, releasing the flawless Searching For A Former Clarity via Fat Wreck Chords, then signing to major label Sire Records last December. The band have also been confirmed as a headliner of the 2006 Warped Tour.
