Denali, the woefully short-lived project of frontwoman Maura Davis (later of
Ambulette), guitarist Cam DiNunzio, and former
Engine Down members Jonathan Fuller (drums) and Keeley Davis (bass), have officially reformed in Richmond, Virginia. The female Davis posted the following on her
blog announcing the reunion:
"yes...all the original members have ended up back in beautiful Richmond again. so we thought wouldn't it be swell to play some melodies together again. we are planning on a mid-summer show in Richmond and it's gonna be so much fun!! i can't wait!! that's all i've got right now but let me just say it's so great to be back with the old crew again. stay tuned!!!!!"
There's currently no word on whether or not this will spawn any new music from the quartet, as the male Davis is still busy playing guitar in
Sparta.
