AP EXCLUSIVE: THE SPILL CANVAS TOUR DIARY (PART THREE)

South Dakota-based rockers the Spill Canvas are currently pounding the pavement in support of their major-label debut, No, Really, I'm Fine, out now on Sire, and the band have been kind enough to document the band's road experiences for you, the Alternative Press reader. Check out part one here, part two here and part three below.
What's up friends, Landon here. We figured it was about that time again. Time to fill you guys in on the latest happenings from the road.

We are still currently on tour with Yellowcard, Play Radio Play and treaty of Paris. Spirits and morale are definitely high. For one thing, we are in the Beautiful city of Las Vegas, Nevada. We spent much of last night hopping around from casino to casino trying not to lose all our money... not all of us succeeded, but we did all succeed in having a great time! You would think that this morning we would be hung over from a night of crazy partying in Sin City. We are instead, extremely sore and stiff. Why, you ask? Well, we had an epic two-hand touch football battle yesterday. Yellowcard vs Spill Canvas. For some reason, we enjoy the competition.

The clash of titans began, and it was on! We all battled valiantly. When it was all said and done there was several cuts and bruises, a bloody lip and sore limbs for what I am assuming will be another couple of weeks. We kept it close, and we left it all on the field...even a little puke. But unfortunately for us, Yellowcard proved to be a little more organized. With their perfectly choreographed plays and brute strength, they pulled ahead and sadly, we just couldn't recover. The final score was 7 to 4. A shameful defeat was dealt to the Spill camp, but at the end of the day we shook hands, gave some hugs, and proceeded to limp off to our respective hotels. It was definitely a great experience and we had a lot of fun. So now we journey on. We hope to see you all very soon...Love Spill.
