AP Exclusive: From First To Last tour diary (part one)

One of the most anticipated tours of this fall is the return of From First To Last, and we're so excited about it that we asked FFTL to keep a weekly diary of the experience. Here is part one. Enjoy!

Hello everyone who is reading this! My name is Travis Richter and I play guitar and sing in from first to last. I was really excited when I got the news that alternative press wanted me to do a tour blog for their website. I'm a fan of the magazine so anything they swing our way is always appreciated... so, on with the tour goodness!!

We went with "The Rather Be Slayin N00bz Tour" name because we play the ever-living crap out of xbox360..especially live(online), so of course while we are leveling up our master chief we would naturally want to name our tour something that has a halo/gamer reference.

We kicked off the tour with severe cases of metal neck and more airborne than I think physicians would allow. We were super stoked on all the bands that we brought out on this run, vanna and bless the fall are really holding it down, and as an addition to the tour we added our friends mia medusa to the line up which really mixed things up and added some dynamic to the already brutal package.

Saints and Sinners proved to be quite a success for us, and we were super stoked and blown away at the crowd response.. jersey has always held it down for us and I will always love playing shows there. I got to see between the buried and me and glassjaw perform as well so all in all Saints and Sinners was a good time!

So my metal neck has subsided and in its place I now have a new anxious feeling awaiting the release of our new song, "two as one". myspace is featuring it for two days on the 15th and 16th of november...tour is only about to get crazier.
