ALKALINE TRIO SIGN TO EPIC

It was confirmed over the weekend that Chicago goth-punk trio Alkaline Trio have signed to major label Epic Records. They join a roster which includes Good Charlotte, Modest Mouse, Incubus, Cartel, Lamb Of God, Ben Folds and many more. The band are currently writing for their new album, which will come out in late 2007 on Epic, since the band's previous label, V2 , recently folded. The band's debut album, Goddamnit, will also be reissued later this year.
