Bloc Party drummer suffers collapsed lung; cancel shows

Bloc Party have been forced to drop off the next four dates of their current
arena tour with Panic! At The Disco and Jack's Mannequin due to their drummer, Matt Tong, suffering a collapsed lung after last night's show in Atlanta. The band posted the following statement on their website:
"Doctors at the hospital in Atlanta say Matt is in a comfortable condition and not in any danger, he will however be staying in hospital for at least the next three days for observation and it's not clear at this stage when Matt will be fit to resume performing."
The band are no longer on the bill in Charlotte, North Carolina; Fairfax, Virginia; and both New York City shows. There is no definite word on if the band will rejoin the tour after that.
