I seriously need to research some safe 'ways' to fix this because of my 'situation'
My jerk-face-ex said he'd be up for it, I mean, we have before even with my "thing" (That can SO be taken out of context)
I don't want to be TOO blunt about it, since a lot of people kind of don't know what my "situation" is.

ANYWAY, the sex thread was actually starting to thrive when it got devoured by the board. Curses.
We need to keep the sex discussion going whether you're getting some or simply sexually frustrated because it's been a while.

How long was it before you and your man hit kind of a wall in your sexual activity that needed to be worked on?

Oh hey, I just noticed my name was in this thread. 
Honestly, I couldn't really remember... 11 years is a LONG time. It had definitely gotten to be less exciting and that rush of "oh wow, we just had sex" before we got married.
OK, hm, my time frame is all f*cked up.
Started having sex 9 months after we started dating... got married 5 years after we started dating.
So I'd say it got pretty routine by maybe 3 years in??
And to be honest, it's still pretty routine. When you've been sleeping with the same person for 10 years, there's only so much new & exciting you can find. I don't think it's a bad thing, just something you've gotta get used to. We've had a few fights about it over the years, but nothing I would classify as a "problem".
Every now & then though you'll find something new to kinda mix things up a bit.

Well I'm just going on well over two years of sexual activity with one person and it was kinda rough for a while. It's been getting better because we don't see each other that often much less have sex so when we do it's great. I just thought I'd ask your opinion on the whole matter, oh wise guardian of the pit

^ Lol... it doesn't sound like that bright of a future, but really, if you end up being in it for the long haul, it really isn't that bad.
I remember getting really frustrated when I was in college (so maybe 3-4 years into the relationship) because it was so f*cking tedious & redundant.
But we were also both still living at home, in school & worked so there wasn't much of a choice in the matter.
If you want to get REALLY bored with it though... try FORCING yourself to do it every other day for over a year. It gets real old, real quick.
< Dated for 9 months before first having sex. We had done EVERYTHING but by 2 months though. The only reason we ended up waiting 9 months was because he was still super religious guy at that point.
