Just another thing to answer to..

Here's my list (in order):

2) Ryan Zimmerman (Greeley Estates)

Tetsuya Fukagawa ~ Envy
Jacob Bannon ~ Converge
Billy Werner ~ Saetia / Hot Cross

The guy in Honeywell.  Granted, I have only heard two songs by them, but he scared me sh*tless.

The guy in Ennure loosens bowels, though the music is sh*te.

Buddy screams?

I'm not the son you wanted, but what could you expect?

I've made my world of happiness to combat your neglect.

damn...i was expecting at least some good out of this thread but got nothing until Craig's post.

as for the threadstarter...Craig Owens? Im a pretty big chiodos fan but his screaming is obviously his weak point...he isnt top notch at all.  Same goes for Greeley Estates dude...

Daryl Palumbo - Glassjaw
Keith Buckley - Everytime I Die
Thomas Erak - The Fall of Troy
Howard Jones - Killswitch Engage
Dennis Lyxzén - Refused
Dustin Kensrue - Thrice
George Petit - Alexisonfire
Phil Labonte - All That Remains
Drew Speziale/Kathy Coppola - Circle Takes the Square

I really dont think Dustin Kensrue is much of a screamer, nor the dude from ETID.... The best screamers.in my opinion would be:

Jacob Bannon- Converge
Mitch ?- Suicide Silence
Zak Vargas-Elysia
Rich ?-Cloacal Kiss
Jon ?- I Declare War

^^they might not be screaming all the time, but when they do, they are good at it in my opinion.

I'm going to have to go with Keith Buckley as one of the best frontmen in current music in general.

Thomas - The Fall Of Troy
The dude from As Cities Burn
The dude from Botch
Josh Scogin - The Chariot
Jake Bannon - Converge
The guy from This Is Hell

NOT Craig Owens.

Geoff Rickly - Thursday
PRE-CITY OF EVIL M. Shadows - A7X
Bert McCracken - The Used
Spencer Chamberlain - UnderOath
Kurt Cobain

Craig Owens?!? Really?

I've been banging my head against a wall for so long it seems I got knocked out and the scar on my head is the proof that I'll still remember this when I get old.

I'm gonna get blasted for this but I think the screaming in the Used and Story of the Year is really satisfying...

But my personal favs are Erak from Fall of Troy, the Killswitch Engage guy, and Spencer's new deeper scream in Underoath.

A heart that's made of gold can't really beat at all.

I was going to type a list, but then I read Craig and Jon's lists and they pretty much saved me some time.  I agree with all of those, especially Keith Buckley and Daryl Palumbo and Thomas Erak.  They be my favorites.

As far as Craig Owens goes his screaming is meh...he's definitely a great singer though.  It's why I love Cinematic Sunrise a bunch.

I also agree with Geoff Rickly.

And call me weird, but I love the super shrill screams of Jordan and Johnny from the Blood Brothers.

Do you believe in something beautiful?
