I never thought 3OH!3 had any potential and after seeing them at Warped Tour, I proved myself right. Every one of their songs is a raunchy jam that sounds like recycled R Kelly. I mean, really guys. Can't you think of anything better to sing about than sex? And not to mention that they are really terrible live.
But that's just my opinion.
What's yours?

Love Me or Hate Me - Lady Sovereign (I thought the same thing when I read it)
And I actually enjoy 3OH!3, and have for about three years now.
I heard their music in a snowboarding video and instantly fell in love with their lo fi beats and quirky lyrics. They aren't really meant to be listen to as serious music, more of a throw them on and dance type thing.
Its not like the went out trying to write a Minus The Bear song, they took a simple beat and put some fun lyrics to it.
PLUS, like I said I've been listening to the for just about 3 years now, so they were kind of original at the time, now its recycled and its hard to think of 3OH!3 as a credible original group. They grew up playing in hardcore bands and working in their local music scenes.
I don't know, bash me for it, I like them.

You know, I've been so disconnected from music over the last few years
that I have never even heard ANYTHING by 3OH!3, Brokencyde, or Escape
the Fate.
Although from what I've gathered that just means that I've saved my ears
the kind of trauma that would take years of therapy to resolve.

They're fun to listen to, but I wouldn't freak out over a
new cd or try and see them live. Unless they were just
conveniently nearby something more meaningful.
Save some face, you know you've only got one.
Someone is playing a game in the house that I grew up in.
And Someone will drive her around down the same streets that I did.

the thing i hate most about them is because of the douchey scene kids in
my little area. they always talk about how awesome 30h!3 is because
they're "original". no. no they're not. they're hip hop. they are 2 white
dudes from colorado, rhyming to club beats about stupid sh*t. THIS HAS
BEEN DONE BEFORE!

I strongly dislike them
Not because of their music, which is.... meh, your average everyday
electro-pop
But rather because Nat once pretty much tackled me in a supermarket
once for no reason, back before they were big, and when he was still
friends with my stepbro...
& I'm pretty sure I know exactly who the punk bitch is.

Random thought: I'd like to see them and Minus the Bear attempt to
collaborate. And throw in a little Bon Iver and Guns 'n Roses for good
measure. Now THAT would truly be worth hearing.

To me 3oh!3 is just a bit of fun. theyre not my favorite band but I dont completely despise them. if its their crude lyrics your hating on then u seriously need to relax and learn to take a joke.
