lately... as of a couple days ago I've been on a desert rock/southern metal
kick (eg Corrosion of Conformity, Down, Kyuss, Fu Manchu, Clutch,
Melvins... it all seems to mesh pretty well). But I also just got some
serious Minor Threat and Cream (not that they're related, like, at all) from
the rekkid store. That's been my music the last couple o' weeks.

Blessthefall is quite tasty, however.

Portugal, the Man came here a while back and I saw them, but I kind of
filed them away in my "to think about later" place... Now might be the
time.

^ Now is totally the time.

They don't really have a bad album in my eyes, so you can start wherever
you want. I'll just say that I don't recommend starting with "Its
Complicated  Being A Wizard." They seemed to have found their groove
with Censored Colors. But by all means, just listen to them.
I'll also  throw out that John Gourley is absolutely gorgeous.

Polar Bear Club, Four Year Strong, Band of Horses, The
Shins, A Day to Remember has been my deal for the last
two weeks.

Save some face, you know you've only got one.

Someone is playing a game in the house that I grew up in.
And Someone will drive her around down the same streets that I did.

^ My friend went this summer and I'm pretty sure that it's in Canada cause he lives there now. But it's a week and there is no audition because they want people of all levels and it's like 15 bass players. I'm saving so I can do this for my summer vacation

^ Mmmm Tiger & The Duke. I love. I do, however, like Lover, The Lord Has
Left Us... the most.

Lately I've been interchanging The Dodos, Why?, Ramones, The Black
Keys/Dan Auerbach, Menomena, White Stripes & Modest Mouse on my
iPod walking to/from/around campus.
Its serving me really well.

Well you're young and you're... you're gonna be someone.
Then you're old and you're... you're ashamed of what you've become.

Well take a look around you...
You're preaching to the choir!

I had a serious Modest Mouse kick over the summer. It was
all I listened to at my freshmen orientation.
